I can't really call this a restoration, More of a parts finding exercise ;D.

This project has taken more than two years to complete and have ,at times, almost given up on finding some of the items.

It started when I bought a NOS GS frame thru ebay back in 2008. The frame had been a warrantee replacement orde back in 1984 and was never used. It sat in the store room of a bike shop in Leicester until it was put on eBay. Things to note are that it has a sticker style headbadge and a gold on clear "Made in England" sticker on the down tube in line with other Raleighs dating from 1984. Basically Raleigh had unpainted frames that were painted up when an order for a replacement was requi.

I've included all the late equipment that appea individually on the very last Supers and GS's. Most of the bike is NOS except for rechromed rims modern lines, Gold chain and the seat. Even the washers and circlips are NOS.

I hope you enjoy the pictures and I think you will agree that the GS is very much underated.
