hard to see on my photos of it but they're badly scuffed and the clear coating is peeling off all of them. I know what you mean though, I try to be as careful as possible with things, which always ends badly LOL! Not just covered some miles on the XL though, the chopper did quite a few in the short time I owned it. If those electronic speedos you can get are anywhere near accurate then I should've been very scared one day as mine showed 51mph when I had it fitted to the chopper! Mind at the time the bike also had a 13 tooth sprocket and a 5 speed hub fitted....

woooah!! 51mph on a chopper would be truly crazy again using the digital speedo the best i've managed is 42.5 on my kustom grifter - down hill of course! felt pretty fast when i started going round corners you've laid the gauntlet down with 51mph though....... |

the annoying thing is at that speed and at the slope of the hill I was speeding down I would've passed a speed camera in a 30 zone at around 45mph, sadly someone pulled out ahead of me and I had to slam the brakes on, they took some time to take effect for some reason, dunno why though
