Trailer has since been removed and gear cables returned to the correct position though. Might have to build the 5 speed hub into a spare rim again though as it works really well, mind its done well to have only done about 40 miles since 1986. Only problem with it is changing from 1st to 2nd without stopping pedalling results in a very interesting crunch....

The other problem is fitting a second gear cable and changer to the bike as the 5 speed has a toggle chain in both ends of the axle  |
