I went to have a look at the NOS Mk2 tonight just to record it for reference. I've posted some pictures below that will hopefully will put a few negative comments on other forums to bed. It's a very dusty but mint bike. One thing to note is that the front R nuts are the ones with the separate washer which I've never seen on a Mk2 before. Also no R nuts and black plastic valve caps. This is a 1981 bike. |

did the seller say how he came to own it Andy ? never known them r nuts to be on the front wheel before, i thought most of the Mk2s didn't have r nuts on the cotter pins or metal valve caps. did it have an r nut on the rear wheel ?
