Not me mate. I've seen loads of posts from people who are far better than me at this who have got close but aren't quite happy. I bottled it, decided to keep mine original.
Saw someone who did a gold base coat then a fine red overspray to get that Metallic Red effect. Looked pretty good but beyond what I can do.
Has anyone ever contacted Raleigh to ask? They've got a Facebook page mostly dedicated to their racing team but they do some retro stuff every now and again, could be worth a shot??

That's ok mate:) yeah worth a shot !! I think it's a Silver base coat with a clear candy top coat or something along those lines |

nice Mk1 bud are you after respraying it completely or touchin up I,ve just had one ov mine resprayed shud get it back tomoz I had a go at doing it myself but failed big time so hard to get it right it,s a gold base coat with red over |
