ok the time has come to restore this stars to a tidy rider, ive had this one for a long time just sat at the back of the workshop gathering dust, ive robbed the chain guard and lamp bracket off it since these pictures were taken so im on the look out, here are the pictures from a few years ago when i got the bike........watch this space ;D

That's right ste, I try and leave as much of the originality as I can, I have replaced the top tube decal but the rest will get polished, as I'm using the bike as a rider I'm fitting Mk1 bars and Mk1 seat as I think the bike rides better plus I will be fitting used supergrips ;D

the previous owner in there wisdom had belted the chainring side cotterpin with a hammer, bending it over quite badly, i hadnt noticed because they had wound an oversize nut on to disguise there butchery, anyway it needed sorting and it was a bitch to come out, the hammer and punch werent having any effect so i ended up having to drill the cotterpin out, first with a 3.5 drill bit, working up to a 4.5 and then 5.5, then tapped the remaining cotterpin through with a punch.... all sorted now with a new cotterpin fitted ;D
