1976 Raleigh Grifter Mk1 - June - in Metallic Red

been a hectic last few days got the old pulled apart then me old man had a minor heart attack
hes doing ok so in between visiting him ive cleaned her up and been out for a blast today

its mad this one dont seem to have been used much it rides perfect,where as the blue one seems to have had a hard life.

i love it the bars are still stuck but after mucho oil i got em to move but they need loads more soaking.
im gonna ride this more the the others.

right i now need a 76 in blue and a couple of 77's in each colour
oh an a Mk1 chopper Mk2 chopper and a arena maybe, ive got it
bad lads.

morning freddie,so sorry to hear about ya dad mate,i do hope he is getting better mate,nice job done on the bike and it looks a lot better,top work done on it.i know you might want to keep it all original,but i do think it would make it look way better with just some new decals.and a chainguard like mentioned.but apart from this,really nice bike freddie...and whoo whoo calm down on what other bikes you want aswell.your getting way to excited,lol

thanks kal and tony hes doing ok the're gonna do the balloon trick on him and he should be fine.

he keeps chatting the nurse's up an he was 71 the day after he went in.

your right about the decals mr 71,its a shame about the state of em i'll get some ,and im being very greedy i want i want lol

I would Leave the decals as they are , they match the age of the bike , new decals might look wrong

wow Freddy thats a cool bike man, fast freddy alright ya going to have the monopoly on grifters soon, ya have been bitten by the bug and you got it bad lol, hope ya dad gets well soon m8, a did sink a bit when a first read it, give him all the best and to be as strong as a grifter take care of him pal, ya bikes will still be here later.

thanks for all the nice coments about the ol man lads i really appreciate it ,he thought he had indigestion because he had the same feeling of being blocked up and hes had it 3 times before.

the problem was the bottem of the heart but has the same symptons the hospital we're brilliant tho an are really looking
after him he could be home by thur

re decals im the same as jason i love the original battle scars
its just thesse ones are more severe id prefer to leave em
i might get some an not fit em just to see .

jason mate i dunno what to say i do need some shrouds as it never had any and i went back to the ebay pics to see if they had been robbed before it was sent but it was shroudless in the pics!

i cant keep taking things for free im a giver not a taker oh that dont sound good either does it? jason if you wanna send em i'll use em until i get some then i can send em back to ya if ya want
