I've just picked up a 1978 Raleigh Grifter in Steel Blue met

the bikes great for 25 notes
a big thanks for tony ,mite even give him a big kiss when i see him ;D
i did offer the bike to tony cause i felt i was nicking it
the bikes got issues tho
the forks are bent toads sortin them ;D
one ov the down tubes is bent ,be ok tho
got a ding in the top tube
the chain set is bent so will av to be chucked

so going to give it a clean up
and build it up and it should be a nice rider ;D ;D ;D

having said that its a nice 78 blue Mk1 ;D ;D

did i just read that rite?lee said he might give me a kiss :olee honestly mate a cuddle will do ;Dand your very welcome mate for the bike..like i said i was gutted at the time,as everyone knows i want a Mk1 and had been after this for a while.but it was,nt meant to be,and rather than someone not on here getting it and you living not far from it i just thought of you and asked if you would like it,,and you snapped it up.

sorry lee the bike has issues,but i did,nt know,and like you said sort what you can out on it and a good clean and make it a rider,,like you said it is still a Mk1 blue 78..nice mate...enjoy it

Just to check you need the pedal arms chainwheel assembly when you say chain set needed !!
Cus its a heavy item and dont mind sending if its what you need ,
