got this old girl for me 22yro "maniac" daughter can someone date it for us please id look it up me self but the data sheet went with the old foum frame no nd830 hub 78/3

looks like a good place to start, the frame no matches up with the hub date marc 78. looking forward to seeing this restored...

Here you go lads,had a good go at it today got to take the bars back off and paint em and the mudguards while i was at it gave the blue one another polish and sorted out me muvvers old lamp
its come up a treat.
this time last week i didnt even have a grifter now ive 2, well ones the maniac daughter's ;D

Wow top work mate, they both look great ;D and once the bars and mudguards and done and tyres are on, it will be a cracker ;D ;D

those bikes came up great bud , its amazing the bikes that are hiding under 30years of crud ,top job , have you put them in the grifter register ?

wow wow freddie,what a top job you have done on these 2 bikes,i can,t believe how well the Mk1 Metallic Red has come up,what a treat,well done mate,and i also agree with wayne,there your bikes now mate and you do and put what you want on them mate.top bikes and top work done on them freddie.

thanks mr 71,it has come up well and i like the fact thats its got all its bits intact,just need some tyres a chain guard and some better chrome parts it came from southend but the salt air was kind to it!

the mad thing is this one and the blue are only a month apart,and i got to thinking after looking at the no's that raleigh had made 324 more grifters between my 2.

could'nt we have a register with all members bikes in order they was made in cat of Mk1 m2 etc that way we'd know who had the oldest youngest girfter and how close to the nxt one.
only a thought.....mr carling can sort out the list
