well as you can see this is is a bit of a job the bars were stuck in nice and deep and did not move so with help from a member on here i have a different plan so pics for all but especially tony, cheers again guv top guy might seem a bit harsh but i want to get on with painting ther frame and the forks are going to get welded back together virtually in full depth

Its always a dilemma! if the bars are very good with excellent foam then there worth keeping. The worse thing is when both the forks are bars are excellent (and if there triangle forks even worse)

well frame is stripped
tried nitromors first.. this used to be the best but it does not seem to have the bite it once had
anyway nice clean frame stripped and ready to prime

old fashioned hard work mate, i just used that oxide paper the very rough stuff, not quite finished but nearly there quite a few pits in frame but primer should fill that there was also a postcode stamped into stand housing on the underside s66 0jg would that be sheffield.. be cool if it was someone on here
