Well I got a box full of bits this morning off the post man
And made a start as soon as I got to work after I welding the but of fork tube to some 3mm box I hit it with a bit of heat and got out the bars ;D


Then it was time to make a steel lug to fit back in to the forks.


With all the welding done it was time to get the twist out of the bars and forks all done now time for the mudguard now then I will start the seat tonight at home.

Mick your more than welcome to my help do you won't me to shotblast the bits before I send them back to you so you can get on with painting them all up.

he does make it look easy doesn't he,

top of them forks were well jammed on the bars, need more info and how you got the top bit of forks off

i know you said heat but where and how much heat?


i sent him a Mk1 seat that to most of us would be scrap

i take it the seat was really bad under the tape, i never removed the tape wasnt brave enough! haha

the toad will sort this,i know he will,the 1 i got off kal was pretty bad,but the toad worked his magic and you can,t tell it was ever in such a state,he amazes me,how he sorts things,that you would just say have gone to far to be saved.

as for him wearing his very tight blue trousers wayne,,you should have given him a wedgy mate,lol
